The State Legislature is reconvening for a special session beginning June 1, 2015. We believe Florida’s tax credit program for the film, TV and digital media industry should included in the special session. Film Florida has sent letters to the Governor, Senate President and Speaker of the House formally requesting our program be included.
Now it’s your turn. Please CLICK HERE to sign a petition from the industry asking the Governor, Senate President and Speaker of the House to include the film, TV and digital media program in the special session.
Once you have signed the petition, it’s imperative that you share the link on social media and e-mail your colleagues, family members and friends urging them to sign the petition as well. Even if someone doesn’t work in the industry, if they support you and your ability to live and work in Florida, they should sign the petition. To get the number of signatures we need to make an impact, we need everyone to share and e-mail the petition.
