Film Florida, along with the Sarasota County Film & Entertainment Office, invite you to attend Film Florida’s annual meeting to include Board Elections, special recognitions, and a first look into Florida’s Strategic Future Committee planning…all taking place from June 22-24, 2016 in the beautiful surroundings of Sarasota, FL!

Wednesday, June 22nd
6:00pm-8:00pm: Welcome Reception (Hosted by the Sarasota Film Commission)
Join us in honoring Senator Nancy Detert with a special recognition award for her years of dedication and advocacy for Florida’s film, television and digital media industry. Expect delicious hors d’oeuvres, thirst-quenching drinks, music and fun! Thursday, June 23rd

3:00pm-4:00pm: Film Commission Council Meeting
4:00pm-5:00pm: Education Council Meeting
Location: All Council & Committee Meetings will take place at Ringling College in the Academic Center Auditorium.
Transportation: A shuttle will be provided from the Holiday Inn Lido Beach, departing the hotel lobby at 8:00am and returning at 5:30pm. The shuttle will not make any return trips before 5:30pm, so please plan your own transportation if you do not plan to stay for all of the scheduled meetings.
*Please note that coffee and water will be provided, but breakfast and lunch are the responsibility of each attendee. Lunch options close to the campus will be provided to all attendees.
