Film Florida’s next Quarterly Meeting will take place from December 9-11, 2015. Please plan on joining us for this crucial meeting as we gear up for the 2016 Legislative Session! The Film Florida room block and all meetings will take place at the Grand Bohemian Hotel in Downtown Orlando:

The room block is available for check-in on Wednesday, December 9th, with a check-out on Friday, December 11th at $199/night plus tax and parking fees ($15/night). Wednesday, December 9th
7pm – 10pm : Jingle Mingle Industry Event (Presented by Women in Film & Television – Florida)
Jingle Mingle will be held at the Quantum Leap Winery. The theme this year is Old Florida; recommended cocktail attire for guests. Visit WIFT-FL’s website to view details and purchase tickets in advance! As an Association Sponsor, all Film Florida members receive the discounted ticket rate of $20.00.

Thursday, December 10th

  • 11:00am – 12:30pm Film Commission Council Meeting
  • 12:30pm – 1:30pm Lunch on own
  • 1:30pm – 3:00pm Education Council Meeting
  • 3:00pm – 4:00pm Industry / Association Council Meeting
  • 4:00pm – 5:00pm Strategic Futures Committee Meeting

Event Recommendation: The Dr. Philips Center for the Performing Arts is a new cultural and architectural centerpiece of Downtown Orlando! If you are interested in seeing a show during your visit, there will be a performance of Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas on Thursday, December 10th at 7:30pm. Friday, December 11th

  • 9:00am – 12:30pm Film Florida Board of Directors Meeting

For those who are not staying at the Grand Bohemian and will be driving in for the meetings, the fee to valet park at the hotel is $10.00/day. There is also parking available in the City Commons Parking Garage across the street at 460 Boone Ave for $2/hour with a $12 daily max.
