Film Florida’s next Quarterly Meeting is Tuesday September 5 & Wednesday September 6, 2023 in Orlando, FL. Events will include meetings for the Film Florida Committees and Councils and the Board of Directors. For those that cannot make it in person, Zoom capabilities will be available. Film Florida meetings are being held in conjunction with the Annual Florida Governor’s Conference on Tourism at the Rosen Shingle Creek located at 9939 Universal Blvd., Orlando, Florida 32819.

Film Florida is sharing the Rosen Shingle Creek room block with the Governor’s Conference on Tourism. Rooms can be booked for $149 plus 12.5% tax. The resort fee has been waived and the resort offers complimentary self-parking for overnight attendees. Daily drive-in self parking rate is discounted to $12 per day. All attendees also enjoy a 25% discount in select restaurant outlets on the property during the conference. A special rate of $111 is offered for early arrivals on Sunday, September 3 and Monday, September 4. The group rate will be honored three days post conference dates based on the hotel’s availability. The group rate cut-off date is Friday, August 11, 2023 or when the room block sells out. Do not delay in booking, the room block for the Governor’s Conference on Tourism usually sells out. The Florida Governor’s Conference on Tourism is September 6 – 8, 2023. Film Florida members are invited to be a sponsor and participate in the Film Florida booth at a cost of $1,200 which also includes an all access pass to the conference. The annual Florida Governor’s Conference on Tourism (GC) is the premier educational conference for the Florida tourism industry. The conference brings together tourism industry professionals, advertising agencies, travel experts and state leaders to explore the latest trends and opportunities for the industry. GC will give attendees the opportunity to continue both professional and personal development by featuring dozens of specialized speakers both on the main stage as well as in breakout sessions.
