Film Florida is pleased to announce the organization has been honored with the International Communicator Award of Distinction for its rebrand sizzle reel. Both the sizzle reel and a newly designed website were used to launch the fresh and innovative Film Florida rebrand in 2014. Film Florida launched its new brand in a move to better align and identify the association with its members, partners, legislators and industry leaders. Along with a new brand charter, Film Florida incorporated its positioning statement, “Entertainment Production Association,” to better communicate what Film Florida represents.
“The industries that we represent have evolved through the years and we needed to evolve with them,” commented Michelle Hillery, Film Florida President and Deputy Film Commissioner, Palm Beach County Film & Television Commission. “It is important to compliment the incredible talents of the IDEAS team that created the rebrand. IDEAS understood our association’s needs, generated new concepts and successfully delivered an enhanced brand identity. Our focus is to help create and maintain a sustainable, professional and productive entertainment production industry in Florida with an international reputation for excellence. To be recognized with an award for our efforts helps validate our efforts.”
The Communicator Awards is the leading international awards program recognizing big ideas in marketing and communications. Founded two decades ago, The Communicator Awards receives over 6,000 entries from companies and agencies of all sizes, making it one of the largest awards of its kind in the world. The Communicator Award of Distinction was given in the Film/Video: Self Promotion Category.
