After a four year hiatus, Film Florida is excited once again to participate in NATPE Global, January 16-18, 2024 in Miami at a new venue, the InterContinental Miami. NATPE Global is the content industry’s most important event that’s located in the world’s most valuable market. Under new management, NATPE Global is all about advancing your business. Borrowing from the proven structured networking formats that set their events apart, they’re offering a wide range of networking options designed to facilitate the discovery of new partners and provide the opportunity to forge new relationships and connections. Film Florida will have also a booth on the Market Floor during the Conference.

NATPE has made changes to the onsite experience starting with the new location in one of Downtown Miami’s finest conference hotel which allows you to meet and entertain clients in a premium environment for doing business.  The centralized layout and simple-to-navigate conference space will make getting to meetings easy and enjoyable. NATPE Global is bringing together buyers and decision-makers from the entire media ecosystem with a concentration across the key regions of N. America, LatAm and Europe and from development, content licensing, and platform distribution. This is a big tent event. Participants include decision-makers from broadcast, MVPDs, streaming VOD platforms and FAST channels who deal with development, content acquisition and transactional sell-through. The goal is to create a marketplace for TV as well as film to provide a one-stop selling opportunity for all aspects of the content business as it relates to home and mobile entertainment. As part of our normal operations as an organization, Film Florida provides periodic networking and professional development opportunities for both members and non-members. The organization is extremely active in promoting and participating in many member film festivals in Florida. Film Florida also offers numerous financial grants and scholarships for industry professionals and students. At the same time, it’s extremely important that our members, and non-members, have the opportunity to travel outside Florida to promote the state to worldwide content creators. These networking opportunities are vital for local film commissioners and industry professionals to meet and connect with potential partners and clients.
