Volunteers are needed leading up to and for the Global Peace Film Festival. Shifts are typically a minimum of 3 hrs and volunteers can work as many or as few shifts as their schedule allows. Volunteers will help with a variety of tasks including:
- Distributing window decals and posters to local businesses around Orlando for promotion (dates in the beginning of September)
- Ushers
- Tech assistants (making sure films play on time and without interruption for each showing)
- Drivers (with a good driving record) for picking up/dropping off filmmakers
- Ticket takers, etc.
The Festival is also looking for accommodations for out of town film makers while they’re in Orlando. The Festival is all over Orlando including the Cobb theater downtown, Rollins College, City Hall, The Enzian, City Arts Factory, etc. A special volunteer screening night and other fun events are available for all volunteers. Those that would like to participate can e-mail me directly at: volunteer@peacefilmfest.org
